I’ve done the math in my head so many times. Do you believe LINK will see real world adoption outside of crypto? That’s the only question you need to ask yourself. If you do, then holding until at least $200-300 minimum is the sane thing to do, but it’s near guaranteed we see $1,000 one day. If you don’t or are unsure, I don’t know what to tell you... you’re just gambling, and everyone will have their limits. LINK is currently securing a billion dollars in DeFi and that number grows weekly. At current circulation that puts the appropriate value of a token at $3, making the forward valuation a mere 2x. Many tech and growth stocks (Tesla for example) have forward evals of 50-150x. It’s not an apples to apples comparison because collateral is not earnings, but it’s as close as we can get. I expect at least $100B to be secured in assets in the future. Even at full circulation of 1B, which will NEVER happen, that’s a fair valuation per token of $100, and a forward valuation of just the 3x would be $300. A 50x... $5,000/token. Can Chainlink actually be securing $50T of assets one day? Absolutely. That’s a tiny piece of the pie.

You're right. If it is adapted in the real world then it's truly on a moon mission. In fact, it is already being used by UnionPay in China's 浙江 province. If it is successful there, and more provinces follow 浙江s model, then there is really no stopping Link. China is already a cashless society, so they should adapt Blockchain technology much faster than the West.
