I cannot believe how well LINK has performed. Is it a “broken clock is right twice a day” thing or did insiders actually leak knowledge to biz?

Anyone have good screen caps of breadcrumbs back from 2017/2018?

No insider leaks, the insider 99% of the time were a meme. The truth is that it was obvious that LINK was going to be huge if you could read and weren't a complete retard.

>> No.20170240

As LINK buyer with a buying average of 0.4$, Link was a predictable success. Smart contracts on eth were so basic though only be able to use on chain data, that a solution had to be found to give all of eth a chance of adoption. Link was just the best option available to solve this.
So why has this been a "hidden gem"? Cuz 95% of all crypto morons weren't even aware that eth can't do shit for smart contracts without an oracle. They just assumed that eth can utilise all sorts all data already. /biz/ just knew better.

Unfortunately the heavy shilling of LINK and subsequent success lead to now every shitcoin being shilled to hell in the assumption that "as long as I shill it long and hard enough people will buy in cuz they dont want to miss out again". - which effectively put this board in its worst quality ever.

it was a gamble anon. the need for smart contract oracles def made sense, but betting on the 2 man Russian philosopher startup to be the one to succeed was always a risk.
