Yeah but a lot of people are already heavily invested and don't have spare cash laying around. Some of the more dubious projects and others that are reliant on fluid collateral mechanics will be irreparably crippled. Imo the time to invest in defi is after this happens, not now. Think buying the survivors after the dot com crash.

I don't think this is necessarily bullish for BTC in the short term. A lot of Tether is used to purchase BTC at the moment and it is one of the main vectors of support at $9k despite short positions. It will crash. Long term, BTC would be fine but so would most other credible projects. Other stablecoins will replace USDT.
