What happened to all these anons who bought btc or eth at dirt cheap? I thought you were here forever.

Only joined biz two years ago. Didn't understand anything about crypto, was a complete poorfag, put all I had into link and now I'm super comfy. Biz unironically changed my life. The way I see it 4chan is the most consistently high iq think tank. 5 years from now, the new fags will be obsessed with a new gem that no one else is seeing and they will be rewarded like we were. Once you understand that, how can you leave biz? I'll just keep compounding my gains by following the wisdom of the autistic crowd. You have to think very long term, 10 or 20 years of monitoring biz. See it that way, if you were monitoring g 10 years ago, it would literally be impossible to not be a millionaire right now. Now project yourself 10 years into the future, how many more winning plays will biz have called that reddit and Twitter wouldn't see? It's just gonna keep happening because of the nature of fast moving anonymous exchanges and high iq but deeply introverted psychological profiles here. The only thing is that you need to be able to filter through the 99% of shitpost and layers of irony, normie filters etc to understand what's really crucial information.

There was this link whale anon who elusively posted here some times ago, who once posted an AMA. He made it by being early in eth and then xrp, and then followed biz sentiment and got in link. This mad lad must be worth 8 or 9 digits by now. Just because he had the patience to keep monitoring biz for more than a couple of years. So where are all these ogs now?

Passive income also means you're not tied to a location, if hedonism and debauchery is what you're looking for, you could move to a country like Poland or Thailand and live like a king with 50k. Which is what most passive income gurus preach. Or if you decide to stay in the west because you're family oriented then you can just see that income as giving you the freedom and free time to pursue your own business dreams, and supplement that income. Most would get bored after a few years of inactivity anyway.

I held tether for a couple months after that, diversified some in mid 2018, got a couple stinkers but also some LINK, been lurking ever since looking for the next wave. defi is it, I've made a couple long term plays on oracle projects, but right now what the market really needs is a solid dex, which will open liquidity to the average Joe who right now is frustrated by having to hold on multiple exchanges and not being able to invest freely due to kyc/withdraw limitations.

if you know, you know. I made my play with 1.5 btc last week, gonna set up my next passive income investment this week, see how that plays out. been looking for the next step ever since my mining rig stopped being profitable in mid 2018, staking rewards get pretty boring and I'm sick of this waiting game on eth to go PoS, so I'm done investing in it.

As the creator of the term Richard Dawkins put it, they are a form of natural selection for ideas, you have the modern equivalent of an open forum in Ancient Greece, only more efficient as information travels instantly, users are Anonymous and the competition is fierce because of the /biz/ environment where there is never an incentive for anyone to tell you what their gains plan is, unless they benefit more than you by sharing that information with you (eg buy my bags, I'm already in 10x profit) The difference with LINK here was that for every thread that was just a "buy link" shill with no substance behind it, there was another where heavy debates and breadcrumb hunting happened, something I have personally never seen since as a 2017 septemberfag. LINK went through this sort of natural selection process for almost the entirety of 2018, especially at the beginning of the year. On top of the memes being objectively superior, the breadcrumbs alone should have sealed the deal for anyone that consider themselves remotely intelligent. There was a clear distinction between any "partnership" LINK formed compared to the partnerships announced by shitcoins on a daily basis to this very day. The underlying tech and the problem it's trying to solve is unique and couldn't have been compared to any other project.

Only reason I'm even bothering to tell you all of this is that even if you take my post at face value and agree with it 100%, it still doesn't equip you with the ability to search the trashcan for the valuable information when the next opportunity arises. Even if you get the monumental luck of having a friend or someone close to you find the gem for you and begs you to invest, it's still up to you to curate and see if they are brainlets shilling you the next Bitconnect or the next Gold Rush. Maybe some are in here strictly for the gains but personally I am excited to see how the world develops once smart contracts powered by LINK replace the traditional systems.
