20119945 No.20119945 [Reply] [Original]

I refuse to be poor for the rest of my life.
Frens what are your dreams when you make it big?

For me its:
>fix teeth
>own property with a garden
>have a room dedicated to a collection of exotic precussion instruments
>be able to buy the food I want instead of reduced price soon to expire items
>make short films

>> No.20119959

own property
being able to travel
being able to buy food

that's it, basically not having to spin the wheel for basic necessities

>own property
shouldn't be an item on the rich list imo
that should be your number one goal (to escape the rentjew)
rich list goal would be: own a second property that earns you a monthly rent

I like your list anon, it's very nice you have hobbies that aren't pure degeneracy.

I wouldn't mind collecting artifacts because I like history. Would like to go on more camping trips too. Maybe buy a motorcycle or campervan and travel around more. But like you I would also like to garden more.

You could do all of that without being rich, just middle class. Except maybe the music stuff which I know nothing about.

Start doing some after work learning to improve your qualifications and get into a better job.

I got an indian drum from Ebay for 20 quid. It's very therapeutic and I used to improve on harmonics on occasion. I'm not technically trained, I probably sound like a retard but I love it regardless.
I want some Indonesian instruments. And to be able to play them as loud as I want to in a large house away from neighbours.
I want to be trained in piano and opera. I have so many songs in my head but I dont know how to write them down/express them.
There are so many opportunities I could of had and If i work hard enough i will have them!

You all can get there. What is “making it” anyway? You won’t get there if you don’t try. I suggest you stop spending money and learn how to get cash flow then you can retire at 35. If you live in america you don’t even understand how good you have it with your chances of “making it”. You won’t get there gambling it on 100x’s. I stopped needless spending, packing lunches daily etc, and I’ve grown to a level I never imagined for my 20s. I could say fuck you to my boss rn and live 6 years with no income. Embrace the jew and you’ll realize how many opportunities you have, you are just blind to them when you live paycheck to paycheck.
Also fuck 401ks. You can only make it while young being in full control of your net worth.

Grass is always greener, friend. I spend all my time working, or giving time to wife and kid. I don’t game or do much for myself and I hate my job and I often feel dead inside, the glimmer of hope on the horizon is a common method of cash-flow and I’ll have enough equity to retire in less than 5 years at this rate. So different to me.
Got burned by my ex of 7 years, finacially and mentally. I left all my possesions and packed my clothes and tools into my 4wd and now spend most my time in the outback frantically paying off debt and living out of my vehicle (sounds a bit ghetto but we're pretty good at camping over here).
Every morning I wake up to the sounds of nature and watch the Jabiru fishing in the billabong, it is so peaceful.
Its been 2 years now and if never have to hear some bitch whine about things that dont matter again it will be too soon.
Pic related, its a Jabiru

Well I could forget any earthly possessions and dreams and just move on to the next life. I've been preparing my own religion for 7 years in my head now. I wonder if I could fund it.

2008+ has been horrible for the entertainment industry so I'm thinking of working with Netflix and others to make animations and some video games.
Some interesting hybrid music themes like military+organs, asian themes+rock guitars, harps+flute with pop, techno+rock.
90s music with improved background music and 2000s vocals. 2000s music that sounds more genuinely badass and less prettyboy eloquent. Find the next Celine Dion, those rednecks are wasting their talent away.

Atm I could buy some nice headphone+dac+amplifier gear for myself, but I still don't have the knowledge what's the best bang for the buck and >>>/g//hpg/ hasn't been very useful.

I'll maybe try to get back to my love for insects with beehive keeping, maybe truffle farming and an
insectarium of butterflies, far more beautiful than spiders.
I wonder if I can suggest wasps and hornets to make honey, wonder if meat-based honey is even good for human consumption.

Unrealistically... (due to how lazy and talentless I am, not like somebody can't learn all this)
Get some conversationalists, hitmen, thieves, chemists, physicists, economists to teach me what my parents never taught me.
Get me any cute young-faced girl who isn't black haired with black eyes.
Have a kid without my genes and teach her my rebel religion.
Murder A LOT of people and get away with it.

Ok this one is unrealistic:
Biology research to control our reproduction, hair growth, teeth growth, pain sensors and any other bodily function. Especially our chemicals/emotions.

There is no one true path. I'm almost like a hybrid of you two, but a few years in the future. I'm about a year off from complete financial independence, have three rental properties and what not. But at the same time, I live in a $4000 travel trailer (basically one step up from living in a van, no family of course) that I have parked in a hidden nook of lot I own, next to the river, in the down town area of a small town, nestled in ruralish suburbia, in the edge of a major metro area. I feel like the inner most doll of the Russian nested dolls, pretty comfy.
My main tip is make everything you engage in, outside of consumables, cost neutral or even cash flow positive.
>Buy a travel trailer at the bottom of its depreciation curve, live in it for $0/month
>Buy a car at the bottom of its depreciation curve, do delivery driving apps a few days a month to pay for 100% of your automobile expense. Make money on car appreciation if you bought right. Bonus if cars are a hobby and you enjoy driving.
>Pick hobbies that are cost neutral or can be profitable and/or healthy. Collect gold coins, buy-repair-flip electronics/small gas engine equipment/garden for food, etc..
>Don't buy prepared food, cook for yourself as much as possible
Being in near 100% control of your daily schedule 7 days a week is pretty great. It especially works in your favor if you can figure out how to have fun being productive and profitable all 7 days, so your wealth keeps growing.

Tnx for reading my blog
