1: That the future of transportation will be electric vehicles
2: That these electric vehicles will to a large extent be made by Tesla and not one of the many other brands also manufacturing electric vehicles

Its so easy to produce EV , you certainly need only 3 components for it to run thats it. Battery -> frequency converter -> Electric three-phase motor

The only thing they are advanced of is autonomous driving and battery capacity.

At some point Asians will 100% offer the same car for much much cheaper with all them goodies you 10$ Frappocino sojchai latte faggots enjoy so much.
Right now the avg people still stick to their gas cars because they cant afford an EV or dont have the possibility of recharging.

I made a comparison of SSO (2x S&P) vs S&P, pic related. Bars are SSO, orange line is the S&P. SSO survived 2008, underperformed for some years on the recovery, then things turned more consistently bullish and SSO blew S&P out of the water.

Keep in mind this assumes 100% allocation at the start and no cost averaging. If you cost average a 2x position every time market has a meaningful dip (let's say -10% or more), you further pull ahead of the benchmark on the bull runs.

3x performs worse than 2x in this long hold scenario.

certainly the greatest threat to them is antitrust, but there are political disincentives to pursuing that: for one, you are going to anger all of the boomers and really smack up the equity value of the most important growers in the global economy. secondly, these companies are loaded, so they can apply a lot of political leverage locally, nationally, and globally.

That will take literally decades now, if ever. Even 40 years ago the ability to know about competitors was limited. A small company could grow big while others watched. Nowadays a small tech start up comes and if it shows the tiniest potential it becomes part of Microsoft, Google, FB or Amazon.
They can scan the market with efficiency and ruthlessness never seen before.

Not saying its impossible, but there is just no competition right now.
Elon created SpaceX from nothing and Tesla is now more valuable than any other car brand. Going from literally 0 to creating one factory after another and memeing yourself to a dominant position for EV.
Some rich fool could come and try to create "Doors" as an alternative to windows. An OS literally allowing you to download RAM and sucks your dick, its just hard to imagine.
Or Danube, a company delivering packages with the help of RTX rockets right through your window.

Maybe industries will shift in some time. Steam engines were hard to live without in 1910. Maybe we will see smartphones getting phased out by something else and Apple die. Brain implants may replace computers.

But these things will take a long long time. Just buy the top 10 in tech and I will guarantee 8 of them will still be in that top 10 in a decade.

The age thing is a feature of modern society. For most of human history, men and women were breeding as soon as physically capable. There was nothing unnatural about an age gap.
>imagine how it would feel to be a young boy in that situation
probably like you don't have to fear girls or adult women, and can be on a level playing field with them, and experience adult relationships.

well there certainly is potential for the older woman to be abusive in this relationship.
A podcast I used to listen to had a lot of listeners who wrote in stories about female babysitters molesting them as young boys.

However, if that weren't an illegal and shameful thing, would these older girls/women have been compelled to force the boys to secrecy and create such a damaging power dynamic? If it weren't illegal to hire a 16 year old hooker, or even build a mutual relationship with them, would men like Epstein ever have gone to the lengths they did to get with 14 year-olds in a less-than-fully-consensual manner?

While that's true, you are also committing your own share of fallacies yourself. Wealth consolidation is nowhere near as distributed as it was even just 10 years ago and companies have never been more vertical and horizontal (let alone simultaneously) than they are now. A company can't compete with the giants anymore, period. They can maintain an edge in an outside domain, but then they'll just be purchased or die, because those companies are so big they can do whatever they want. They also use their integration and capitalistic power simultaneously to prevent actions against them such as anti-trusts both by buying people up and bribing entire countries, but also by playing fake cards like using their simultaneous vertical-horizontal integration to pretend they have competition (microsoft is not the only desktop OS vendor because google sells phones, for example).

There you go. All the diversification you need and easy 20-30% CAGR. Don't buy boomershit. Don't buy zoomershit. This is the 300IQ portfolio of the future.

>inb4 this has too high P/E
kys r*ddit
>inb4 this has low dividends
kys boomer (total return is all that matters [buybacks >>> dividends])
>inb4 this doesn't have X zoomershit (SNAP, ZM, FSLY)
kys zoomer

Now, you can always add another asset class on top of this (gold, miners, long volatility, leveraged LTT, btc) per your own asset allocation strategy. But these are the only equities you will need for at least the next 10 years. Do NOT come crying when your boomernigger oilshit returns 5% CAGR or your zoomertranny WEEDSTOXXX go chapter 11.

The 3rd argument is, Tesla is a tech stock. They don't shy away from doing new things, such as solar power (oh god) and their own personal power grid. Day trading hype memes can be worthwhile. It's something I have been toying around with adding to my strategy. In current strat, I don't jump on these kind of moony deals unless I got the signal and decided to take it within a couple days. After a couple days pump the odds of continuation start to fall and I consider that greater risk than my strat is designed to handle. However, I could day trade them on occasion with low risk. Gotta think on it.

Look, everyone and their grandma was waiting for the market to crash. Literally every investor has been swearing up and down, since 2008, that they were going to buy the bottom of the next crash.

When the crash came, no one expected it to end THAT fast. They knew they had to pump it FAST, or else the normies might actually buy the bottom and make it. Now, the good stocks that have been reliably pumping since before the crash are at or above crash levels and everyone has finally realized they missed the bottom

You would need a technological upheaval. Like how the internet made ibm a boomer stock. Like how the iPhone made blackberry and Motorola obsolete. Something that would equalize the playing field. Like how central banks print money but outside the central bank purview. Like decentralized. Decentralized money. On the internet! I call this de-mo-int for short and it’ll run all over the internet and people can print it on their computer by solving super hard equations! Yeah!

Iphone never made bb or moto obsolete. bb was the phone of choice of anyone not a snob schoolkid until google fucked shit up, and it's the world's sudden requirement (not option) to use apps for plenty of things (forced 2fa, security/auth at work, some banking and brokering platforms) that killed motorola.

Banks, reits, airlines, etc. are still crabbing. Companies are still going under (Pizza Hut/Wendy's recently). The "stay-at-home" stocks like Shopify are still mooning.

Yes if you keep repeating this and buying imaginary puts on an imaginary account one of these days you'll be right. The only thing there is to dip are the "stay-at-home" stocks, while banks, reits, airlines, etc. are still close to April prices.

>> No.20116333

I don't dispute that, but the tech stocks that were making people RICH have recovered. Regular joes who are still holding onto cash now have to either buy tech at ATH, or buy something that hasn't been performing so amazingly well in the last several year and hope it pumps anyway, or hold onto their cash and pray for a second crash.
