Why has bitcoin's volume dropped so low recently?

>> No.20069708

It's dying. The trading volume moved to stablecoins and DEXs on ethereum. oldfag holders are moving their BTC to renBTC so they can get defi gains.

Because everyone (except retards like you) already have realized that there will be no golden bull run and muh halving was a nothingburger.

Those with functioning brains also have noticed the shift to futures.

If there is one thing I’ve learned over 7 years in this market is that you can never count BTC out. Just as you think it’s dying or boring it’s wakes up, takes a shit on your altcoin portfolio and smears the words “I AM KING” all over it.

Go research it yourself. Both parts are facts.
Volume on stablecoin pairs is growing. Volume on BTC pairs is dropping.
Over $650k of BTC moved over the REN bridge today: https://mainnet.renproject.io/

Protocols are replacing bankers and other middlemen. You directly loan assets via a smart contract. Others borrow the assets and pay you interest. If they default their collateral is liquidated and you still get paid back.
Some protocols (e.g. COMP) are incentivizing deposits by paying out rewards in their token which leads to the absurdly high interest rates. Those won't last, but there is still good, safe (relatively speaking) yield to be earned on otherwise idle assets like BTC.
Holding REN is like selling pickaxes in the defi goldrush. It is the only way for BTC holders to safely take part in the above.

It’s funny because Bitcoin will be ‘boring’ until it’s not. Notice how they want you to think Defi is the new it? So you can sell your precious satoshi’s for some shitcoins that won’t survive one winter and then it’s off to the races for Bitcoin while you’re staring at your faggot charts. You will be punished.

defi isn't just about buying defi tokens.
You don't need to sell your BTC to earn yield with defi. It is a way of stacking sats. Look into it anon.

Yeah people think bitcoin will tell us a few months of notice when it's gonna explode lol
Bitcoin is going to explode eventually when people least expect it and then they're gonna fomo in and that's gonna make it explode even more. History repeats itself over and over again.

Bitcoin has already maxed out its "network effect". Any time more people try to use it now, others will have to leave, just like how many companies stopped accepting it in 2017. It might still have a pump but world changing gains won't happen until scaling has been figured out. So there will be warning as long as someone gets past the Core gatekeepers who stifle bitcoin for tptb.
