I'm in the Trucking Industry, here's my favorite EV stocks

1) SHLL
Can outfit existing Diesel semi's to be Hybrids (HUGE PLUS). Lower upfront cost and installation doesnt take long. Plus management filled with people in the semi & engineering industry.
2) Tesla
Close to #1, but it's upfront cost and recharge time is high.
3) Nkla
....Garbage, for obvious reasons.

this is where I'm not sure you're right. The rates can't go up too high because we are using debt to pay off the interest on debts. if we had stronger trade accounts, it might work, but the rate cannot go up without turning the situtaion into something completely unsustainable. This will lock up the credit markets in a way that corona kind of did, but didn't because it was, as others point out, very much like a natural disaster. it just happens to be that this disaster happened right around when the whole system started tipping.

Alright can anyone help me out with calls? I just placed 1x100 for WKHS at $25 for 7/17. So as far as I can tell, I more or less signed a contract to buy 100 shares at $25. Which is all good and fine. If WKHS hits $25 or above, I have to option to "call" that contract and buy at $25/share regardless of the price or sell said contract for $25/share. You're conflating selling the contract for the contracts value and selling the contract for the stocks value. If you buy a call for $1 x 100 ($100 total), and the stock increases past your strike price, increasing the value of the option to $2 x 100 ($200). You have the option to either sell the option itself for a $100 gain or execute the option to buy the underlying asset for the strike price. Protip: It's almost always better to just sell the option.

I personally think Majors are currently overbought and we should only be buying on dips. I'm heavy into juniors since about 3 months ago and starting last month they've been one by one exploding upwards. Juniors are good right now if you can find a high quality company who're not too overbought yet. Royalty companies are a good way of de-risking as well and I think they've had a pullback lately.

I'd move into silver miners yes, silver is essentially gold on steroids. Other metals, I'm not too knowledgeable of yet. I know copper tends not to perform well during recessions, but we are at all time lows when valuing commodities vs the Dow.
