I would like to point out that March was relevant because that is when the Doombull guy started which is why I was comparing the performance of the two during this time. It made no sense to shill the combo during the dip instead of during a time when TQQQ was extremely high. TQQQ doesn't need a hedge if your position is sized properly and you have a stop loss in place. It's risk/reward is pretty high. What would you hedge it with?

I'd keep it with TMF but then also peel off some of that TQQQ into gold for second leg down protection and then also try having additional protections from deflationary pressure via additional cash, utilities, or dividend aristocrats, maybe preferreds if it looks right. I would say bonds, but the bond market is weird right now and I'm very worried about fallen angel risk. Tbh, I would be sweating every day in TQQQ or SOXL or UPRO. I'd much prefer to be in QQQ, QLD, SOXX, etc.
