I need an honest opinion folks. My 401k from my former employer is currently up 10% YTD as of today and today looks to be having a small bounce up. I'm really getting tired of all the volatility and I don't see any sign of this shit slowing down. I'm thinking about selling out of all of my mutual funds and letting the money sit in cash for a while. Is now a good time? I just don't see how the market can maintain any upward momentum with COVID ramping up and all the negativity out there against Trump and the economy in general. I'm not going to try to time the market or anything, that's what my brokerage accounts are for. But I might wait for things to crash hard and then buy in and hold for a long term recovery.
