Depends with proper risk management and if your moves go the way you want them too. Especially since risk gets reduced the higher you get. And in my case my new strategy, should it work, would result in just missing out in larger gains if it goes my way. Otherwise I get left bagholding something I wanted anyways. Lmao I either get what I want in the form of stocks or in the form of extra cash. Patience is a large factor in this strategy too.

For example, Kroger and Intel had great earnings last quarter but dumped after it was released as people sold the news. It's a bit of a gamble currently.

Wont say if it is or is not that as i prefer to keep it vague. Nonetheless had I done this strategy earlier on Id be up maybe 40k by now using pesimistic numbers, 100k+ being optimistic with a side of realisticalness. Have only noticed this pattern on a few stocks in particular tho. But decided to test it on a wider variety which may be a bad idea as it makes it harder to keep track of. I like my job benefits other than one little thing. The health coverage. If I added my wife to my plan the hit on my check would go up $241 a month. This don't cover dental or vision either. Those would add another 50 to the total. Then by the time you accounted for co-pays and whatever you'd be screwed. If you say bought 10 10$ calls on wkhs for 1.45 on Friday when it was 9$ expiring august 21st, if it goes to 15 by say July 20 on the hopes of them getting the usps contract, you'll make 191%, give or take, or 3700$, so you'll have 5700 total. If you had the same 2000$ in shares, at basically 10$ right now, and they go to 15, you only make 50%, so you'll end up with 2500.
