How can anyone live with debt? I can't even imagine the burden of a normie taking out a mortgage.

I'm poor, and I only have about 1.5K in crypto, but at least I don't owe anyone anything.

Is it debt, or is it leverage? Stay poor

I own about 80k on a mortgage.. Honestly I try not think about it, just paying it off as fast as possible to pay minimal interest on it.. Plan to be finished in 8-9 years

Mortgages are fucking awesome, where else can a peasant get access to a half million dollars credit for under 4% interest.

the only people who think like you do are the ones that never get anywhere in life and are stuck being a rentcuck, driving a 80s/90s piece of shit, and generally living a pretty shitty life.

its ok to have debt and its ok to have loans. you just have to make sure that your earnings make enough that you can pay the "finer things tax" and still have a lot of money left over to put away and buy things and food and clothes.

"ill buy my house with cash and my car with cash" well then youre a fucking idiot. put a down payment down, get the rest loaned, and put the money you'd save otherwise in other investments or in a savings account.

I think my comment may have confused you. There is a big difference between "living in debt as a way of life" and having a "plan with calculated risks".

rofl all i have is a mortgage that i 50/50 with my wife. i own my car and have about 5k in credit card debt. literally fucking nothing.

and yes, mortgages are a redpill. its a loan for an appreciating asset and a protection against inflation.

House prices have doubled every 2 years for the last 10 years. Why wouldn't you want a mortgage?

I feel you man. In every other area except my car, I should have been like you. I have scholarships and everything, I never let my credit card accrue interest by not paying it off immediately. I don't have school loans. But fuck me, I still owe 9k on my car.
On the bright side, it's a new car so I don't have to worry about odd shit not working due to the last owner. I guess that was the (massive) premium I had to pay for the peace of mind.
Alas, I should have been like you, though. Fuck debt.

Dude I’m paying for everything in cash I’m not a retard. Never getting a loan or a mortgage, my phone and address is impossible for them to find, lmao you think I’m paying the interest on any of that or that balance ? I work in the us and live overseas where they’ll never ever find me and I can pay for a house in 70k cash. Imagine caring about your good goy score if you’re in a position similar to mine. Yeah not for everybody but people take this shit too seriously

Financial aid grants cover my tuition in full but I still pulled out $5.500 in loans, will most likely do the same the following year.

Personally, I just want to begin building my credit score without dealing with applying for a credit card.
