if was a shareholder, i'd want him to continue to stand up, and not bow to this movement and companies, since that may not bring them back, and only lead to a way to further bully fb and weaponize ad money. The thing is, google, fb and tencent are in control of pretty much everyone's attention in the internet, if you wanna advertise in the internet, you gotta pick one of them.

They did the same to YT, and then again and again, it won't stop unless these platforms refuse to implement the demanded changes, or nobody uses them.

Its interesting how a bunch of huge customers like Coke are "taking a break" from social media advertising for 30 days. Which has nothing to do with any protest. I think they are starting to realize its a waste of money. I think the ad tech bubble is starting to pop. Facebook and google will probably be the biggest victims but I think big tech as a whole has a lot to fall, including quasi-tech companies like Amazon, priced as tech companies, but with the profit margins of traditional companies.
