I use Trust Wallet on iOS since its secured OS. Also use some cipher to encrypt seeds and only access it on PC by using ubuntu live boot USB. Never get hacked

I think it is secure. The attack vector would be gaining access (either physical or through malware) to your laptop then going into the vm. Another attack vector is hitting you with a wrench until you give them your linkies
