While im not fully convinced, your analysis is lacking greatly.

The "quote from a completely random guy" is from an employee at Symbiont

Again, im not fully convinced, but tweet from Ben Spiegelman is not completely unrelated, as he works at one of the two main companies piloting this initiative

>> No.19954198

>>19954147
Then again, if every single Vanguard asset goes through the Chainlink network, that total value goes to 6.7 trillion so even if a single transaction would never have such high value, the market cap of LINK would need to be at least as high as 6.7 trillion to be able to collateralize everything. Let's go with an average of 10% turnover rate and assume LINK is used for only 10% of all assets, this would mean LINK mcap needs to be at least as high as 67B to be able to collateralize the transactions. If we go for more optimistic values, e.g. 30% turnover rate and 100% of assets use LINK , it gives us 2+ trillion dollar mcap. Curious to see how things will evolve, in any case it's bullish

Retard. You do not collaterise as much as the underlying, it wouldn't make any sense. Think a little. Multiply that 6trillion by the probability of oracle failure + maybe another risk premium and you get your number. That still a lot of money though

Thats my understanding too. So the value of link is going to be loosly tied to the colateralization rate for the daily volume of transactions running through all of the chainlink nodes. I didnt actually read the tweet but if its 6 trillion a year then divide that by 365 and you'll get like 16 billion. Idk what colateralization rates look like so I'll just pull 10 percent out of my ass here. Thats 1.6 billion usd value that needs to be locked up in nodes to colateralize 6 trillion a year. I have no idea what any of this means but I'm pretty sure number go up.
