The show is over. Check the news, it is clear the Fed's pumping was to buy time for the V-shaped recovery. Now that V-shape is out of the window, the Fed is shooting away all its ammo which they might need more in the future (second wave and the upcoming wave of bankruptcies) . They can't stop all of a sudden as the market response will be fast and heavy (we will go from overbought to oversold). Instead, they will stop pumping slowly to parachute the market down to stop an overreaction from happening. Check the balance sheet of the Fed, it is not growing as fast anymore.

Next step is Q2 earnings which will be a bloodbath. They might pump then to cushion the punch of that but the Fed balance sheet can only get so big before the trust in the dollar starts to wane (fuck dollar milkshake, there is a limit to that as well).

Premiums are still a rip off as well. It's as if this consistent downtrend is barely affecting the premium for buy calls further out than a month. Pretty annoying desu as I had a bunch of buy calls expiring in July that dipped to a 75% loss rather quickly (I didnt even buy them on the week with the huge pump either) even when the stocks were mostly flat last week. Yet most buy calls in August or further still have a high premium with smaller but still noticeable drops (but not too a reasonable level). Not gonna pay a $1.50 premium for a strike at $15 expiring August when the stock is at $12.50 especially with a consistent downtrend with suspicious random pumps followed the next day by a dump that jacks up premiums in both directions.
