They almost always don't fly out with physical PMs as theft is 100% guaranteed from anyone at the airport who finds out. They sell what PMs they have to a shop only to immediately buy a plane ticket to avoid inflation. The money they made in the PM sales would go into a bank account with foreign currency.

Don't panic. David Brady, (who believes that SILJ may go 5x or 6x by early 2021,) predicted that metals would crash along with stocks before implementation of YCC around September/October.

Why will they crash "one more time" before mooning? I've heard this many times.

I've noticed that gold spot is somewhat attached to the market indicies: if DJI and SPX are up 3% on a day, gold is often up 1%, etc. So if there is another market crash, gold would presumably go down because people are selling paper gold for liquidity?

>> No.19906296

>>19906013

Because, as Brady says, rising yields, which represent risk-free return, put pressure on both stocks and metals; and reduced liquidity is causing yields to creep up. Gold was falling in late 2019, and he had to calm people down by pointing to the same phenomenon. See his interview with Arcadia Economics in 2019. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsbPDtSv8mw.).) In that interview, he also accurately predicts the 2020 stock market crash.

He says that metals will soar permanently only once the Fed attempts to halt the stock market crash with YCC:

"The Fed’s liquidity taper increases the risk of a 2008-like spike in real yields in the next few weeks and months. But should this play out, it will be the last buy-the-dip opportunity ahead of the Fed trigger, when they flood the markets with obscene amounts of dollars printed out of thin air, imho. This will include capping bond yields on the upside, creating the asymmetric risk to the downside in real yields and upside in metals and miners."

>> No.19906365

>>19906013

(Also, as you say, an additional point to consider is that a sharp market-crash might create a "sell-everything" mentality, as we saw in March.)

my favorite quote comes from Doc Keithly after he and his crew came over the top of Antler Mountain in the Cariboo and started walking down an unknown creek for the first time. "And as we meandered through this wide river basin, we came across bedrock and river stone, and where ever we looked, there was nothing but gold. We did not know what to do, or even how to begin working this wealth, I saw no gravel to work, only gold". Doc came out with 1.5 tonnes from what would be called Antler creek that year.

they seem to have some very interesting, near surface high value gold to work with in Nevada as well as two fully operational mines, but they don't seem to be doing much right now, as in I dont think there operating, likely due to covid or similar factors. They are actively exploring for more resource to work with and have operating mines, thats good. But be cautious, the region there mining in Nevada is well known to be hard to work due to inconsistent ore grades, and that could cause issues for them down the line if they dont do enough drilling. Over all they will probably be a good deal in the long run.

when the dollar collapses, where is everyone moving to?
Apparently you can't take out more than $10,000 worth of metals out of the country via flying and you have to tell the TSA to avoid confiscation which is obviously tyrannical.
How do we escape Venezuela 2.0?

Rural Pa, northern NH? Or middle west/northern Maine.

These areas are not only mountainous but have good water and demographics (majority white 90%+) the key is being isolated and having a racially similar community. That’s my plan at least. As far as leaving the USA, the only country I’d consider is Chile or Austria/Switzerland. I’d move to Alaska before I Tried to leave the USA.

First time poster. Just reallocated my 401K to gain exposure to larger miners via FSAGX (appears to be a similar profile to GDX, just a bit easier to obtain in my Fidelity account.) Unfortunately, Barrick makes up a large holding of this fund - but I figure since the fund is actively managed, hopefully it will reallocate if the need arises.

Started stacking in January thanks to pmg. Sitting at 255oz silver and 5oz gold, with no plan to stop in the near term. I hope to get to 500oz and 10oz by this time next year if the accumulation stage continues. 50:1 ratio seems conservative to me, despite the gold/silver ratio being at ATH.

Stacking PMs for me is a hedge against the dollar failing or the impending great reset. Look at treasury rates over the last 50 years and they're heading to 0 or even negative. Back in the 80s and early 90s it was actually one of the best South American countries to live in. Civilians had a ton of social programs and everyone was living the party life due to their massive oil reserves. But the gubmints banked way too hard on their reserves and did the Zimbabwe thing of printing out a bunch of money. Hyperinflation occured and now their own people are starving and all sorts of despots are controlling portions of the city. Nah. The larger the bar the more crude a counterfeiter can be. Why make their game easier? 1 oz strikes the sweet spot of everything.

Not saying avoid 10 oz or kilos entirely. And I get it, the dollar cost average fags have a strong case. But be aware that those weights might be more vulnerable to fakes and more subject to scrutiny in the future. You're ability to liquidate goes wayyy down. So maybe a 100 oz chadbar if you have Chad money and intend to hold for life. But then you've also got monster boxes that can fill that role.

Yes they are trying to get premiums as low as humanly possible. But the trade-off is loss of liquidity.
