Dude in the discord was throwing a fit about how he wasn’t made aware of the liquidity mining and the uniswap reveal and how the only way he could get cheap bags is to FUD. Some people think it’s overvalued. I say you haven’t been paying attention. I wish I had known about liquidity mining beforehand, but it’s better late than never. More and more people are going to utilize balancer going forward. Statera was the smoke. Balancer is the fire.

Yeah there is fud going around. I bought some and will just hodl it for a little bit. From my understanding they have only handed out 400k BAL to 1000 wallets. Obviously its not an even spread of 400 BAL to each wallet but still. I know the circ supply says 6mil something. But i think its less. If this is going to beat out Uniswap and other DEXs, then the big guys need to hodl their BAL to be able to vote ;)

Yeah. As far as i know. The cheapest price was $6.something . Idk if there is even price discovery or whatever you call it yet. But hey its been floating around $15 to $17 for awhile, so that is good. If BAL goes to half of COMPS mc. BAL should be around $40+

The practical use cases for Balancer pools haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of what’s possible. Do you realize how many unishit scamcoints are going to use this going forward? How many legitimate use cases there will be for private and public use? It’s a lot more straightforward than other DeFi projects and really gives people the ability to do with it what they please.

Say you’re the kind of person who religiously believes in chainlink and is NEVER FUCKING SELLING. Why not daisy chain your tokens to another token that tickles your fancy? Maybe a stable coin? Maybe other oracle tokens? Maybe a bunch of deflationary shitcoins? The ski is the limit. Maybe find a pool that already exists? You can crease your own hedge fund, so to speak, where your portfolio will “balance” itself out over time to mitigate the risks of one coin completely shitting the bed and you finding yourself at a massive loss within a matter of hours. Obviously, the bigger the pool the less risk associated. You’re going to start to see a lot of threads in these coming days of anons inviting you to join their balance pool and you’ll have a myriad of choices available. This is something that’s been available for a while now, but the creation of STA (and STONK) have really turned people onto the idea. Pretty soon a shitcoin won’t launch without a balancer liquidity pool of sorts (muhhhhh Thanos). The trick is having a big enough of a stick to swing around to make it worthwhile, otherwise, you’re not really curbing the volatility.

In regards to it being a direct advantage offer uniswap... they are complimentary tools. They do different things. But a lot of volume will end up going here as it’s a safer place to “park your assets”.

So you know what year it is, anon?

6,070,007 is the total circulating supply. In the past 30 minutes, the price has went up .81. That’s 4,916,705.67 of volume, anons. This isn’t chump change. The current market cap of the circulating supply is currently 122 million. That is, of course, assuming that the 6,070,007 number is correct. (I saw that number posted in the Discord.)

Could any smart anons explain a brainlet what exactly do I get by adding liquidity to balancer?
I got a suicide stack of 100 BAL, added liquidity to the 50%-50% BAL-WETH and 80%-20% BAL-WETH pools.
Got a couple BPT from both.
I kind of understand how the balancer works, but I don't understand what I earn exactly, the swap fees?

>> No.19902060

>>19900661

It's generally much more flexible than Uniswap. You can have more than two coins in a pool and they aren't stuck at 50%/50% like Uniswap. You can have a pool with 90% RPL/10% ETH for example. Also fees can be customized when creating a pool while fees for Uniswap pools are stuck at .3%. Just these differences mean Balancer has a lot more potential than Uniswap IMO.

Do you not know what an ICO is, anon? 400k was allocated out across 1000 wallets. That’s not “the whole supply”. I’m sorry that you didn’t get In on the ICO floor but you had time to get in when it bottomed out at 15 earlier today but instead chose to use that time pointing out how unfair it all is in the Discord channel and on here. Either get onboard now or find another project to follow.
