19896072 No.19896072 [Reply] [Original]

-Toyota, largest company in eastern hemisphere, full and long term partnership (Toyota confirmed themselves they would use SYNQA blockchain tech and the Toyota DCO is now a director of SYNQA

-Tether and Bitfinex want to integrate tether onto OMG Network, and tether announced today they are migrating a large amount of tether with an unknown 3rd party onto ERC20 protocol by 06/29, Bitfinex confirmed OMG Tether to start by the end of June

-Mainnet Fee structure changes this month which allows OMG to moon without raising transaction fees (tether may have avoided naming OMG to prevent increasing fees until the structure changes)

-once fees change, exchanges can pump OMG and the higher it goes, the lower the fees will cost for them

-Mainnet going live as the only enterprise grade scaling solution to ethereum, with layer 1 security as a child chain to ETH

-all tokens on Ethereum will be able to move on OMG. Ethereum is over 92% capacity and growing more congested every day. OMG scaling is NEEDED right now, and with the current likelihood of a bull run lead by ETH based DeFi makes OMG even more necessary, with perfect timing of the release

-once it goes live, Omise clients can move to blockchain, decrease fees and increase speed. Omise is the largest payments provider in SE Asia and has presence in Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia

-OMG also entering competition to run reddit community points, potential 450 million monthly users to transact on the network and OMG is the only project that seems to fit the long list of demands for the competition

-SYNQA (parent company) is creating a new company soon to focus on aggressive expansion of the payments network, with help from the $80 million investment from Toyota and various Asian banks

-OMG/Omise is one of the best user experience designers in the industry and now has the ability to aggressively expand both traditional payments network and Ethereum-OMG blockchain hand in hand, with even the possibility of CBDC integration as Omise has received multiple awards from both Thai and Japanese governments and has held talks with the Thai central bank and Japanese finance minister

-staking being worked on as we speak with announcements coming over the next few months according to the CEO (again perfect for the bull run)

-CEO stated in interviews they are in talks with multiple exchanges to integrate Erc20 tokens onto OMG Network

-OMG is 1/20th ATH and has a market cap of only 200 million at rank 40

You have a simple choice: Sit on the sidelines and fill your eyes with tears heavy and deep with regret, or buy OMG and watch your stack make you a millionaire.

No, this is actually almost always true and only false if you have 100% of your savings in OMG and you don't have an income, or if your income isn't high enough to really get a bigger bag

Nope. There is a definite point (usually after a small bag is obtained) where it is more valuable to advertise your coins and invest in the coin development over accumulating.

Once staking is live, the token supply will be reduced too. There's 140M OMG tokens right now, expect at least 50,000,000 to be staked from the get go, bringing the circulating supply down to an attractive 90 million OMG AKA the price could skyrocket to Ethereum levels.

Yes, when you are not fully confident about its future, otherwise you'd buy a huge bag
>>19896684
don't forget that the OmiseGO team is also holding about 35m OMG for PoA and staking, so the circulating supply right now is closer to 105m

I have been asking for price targets and no one can give me one. You say “etherium levels” ($250/token) and 90M circulation tokens. Are you really saying this will be a $22.5 BILLION market cap? Really?

“ daily reminder that if someone shills a coin he isn't fully confident in its future, otherwise this person would be accumulating”

So it’s impossible to be fully confident in an investment and to have less than 100% invested in it? I’m fully confident that you’re full of shit, but I’ve only invested 1% of my time sorry anon

Price levels vary wildly. What is very plausible is that OMG can capture the current traffic of ethereum by design (and once complete it will also be able to capture other blockchain traffic via cross chain compatibility, but forget about that for now)

It doesn’t necessarily have to, it just has to be possible. It therefore stands to reason that speculatively, ETH and OMG have similarities. Indeed ETH can do more, but price wise they re both based on traffic and fees from that traffic.

If OMG has 1/3rd the fees of ETH and captures just 1/3rd the current ETH traffic (tether alone would accomplish this) then it stands to reason OMG would have 1/9th potential staking rewards that ETH would have. Factoring the difference in the amount of tokens this takes the ratio to 1/10th. That logic would price OMG currently at $24. That’s not even unlikely as we know it seems almost necessary for ETH to function properly at a basic level that erc20 tether needs to scale. It’s also clear which project tether has chosen erc20 usdt to integrate with, OMG Network.

There will of course be slight variations to this calculation, but remember it doesn’t take into account any further erc20 use on OMG, which is a very pessimistic view IMO. It also doesn’t take into account the finance side of Omise such as the recent partnership with Toyota and the possibility of powering Omise existing and future clients across Asia. All in all a marketcap of 100 billion is plausible. I mean a marketcap in the trillions would be completely plausible if Toyota achieve what they want out of the partnership. Don’t forget, OMG is not just designed to transact traditional payments to the time of MasterCard or visa levels, but also on traditional exchange of value, the type you see in smart cities, smart contracts, fintech innovations and countless other current and future projects.

Things move fast in fintech and crypto. They’ve gone from start up to the biggest payments provider in SE Asia in less than 7 years, there’s lots more room for aggressive expansion

>> No.19898262

>>19897740
Things can move fast, I agree. I don’t think a company like Toyota will launch a product that they are just now investing in that can launch anytime soon. Those companies move slow. I do think that the Eth optimization is very promising for immediate growth (6-12 months). For OMG it’s a race to $1B market cap which would put price around $11 assuming 90M circ tokens. Feels like a realistic goal in the next year. Thoughts?

OMG is inherently tied to ETH. I have always thought a 10:1 ratio with ETH makes sense.

So, right now a $2.7B cap. It will grow with ETH, and the ratio could improve slightly.
