I'm down 20% on compound
I'm down 20% on TRM
I'm down 20% on STONKS
I'm down 30% on RAISE

And sold everything at a loss.

All I wanted to do was to make profit and get back into Statera. Now I'm down 1150 USD compared to yesterday, and if I buy back STA now I'll have LESS than I had yesterday. I want to go hide myself under a rock and fucking die. How do I learn to catch the Golden opportunities /biz/

You deserve it. Stop chasing trends and do actual research

>> No.19858341

To start off, by not buying the punping fad of the day (statera, dmm, compund, Esh/ghost etc etc).

Secondly, you're only down if you sell (at a loss).

Fucking greed man I'm still relatively new to all of this and seeing STA going up from 0.005 to 0.10 fucked up my perception of how things should be since it was my first ever investment in crypto and this probably led me to believe that it's always like this. How do people manage to do the distinction between betting and actually trading/investing?

Yeah now I fully see the meaning behind DYOR

I don’t believe AAVE is, it’s the best DeFi product out there with a proven record and low mcap to value. This DeFi bubble isn’t even two weeks old and will hit new ATHs before coming down. When you start seeing daily articles in non crypto news mediums about it and a new utopian future of finance based on DeFi, then you buy out.

Look at the 24hr volume for AAVE, it’s nowhere near mania levels compared to mcap

The DeFi bubble is months if not a year old. Just because your retarded ass only heard about it two weeks ago doesn't mean isn't up 1,700% from January of this year.

Very true. The volume with AAVE has always been a big indicator for me and its still true today. Its why I still bought at 650 sats which I thought was high due to having already 20xd from the bottom over 5 months. The volume is still low, it clearly has A LOT more room to grow and will but I just feel at some point it has to cool off for a second. Fully agree that this isn't anywhere near its yearly high in sats though.

>> No.19858624

>>19858599
To add to this, it looks like BTC is about to make its move and LINK is moving with it. These coins that 2-5xd over the last 2 months will start bleeding sats as BTC moves.
>tl;Dr its time to be all in LINK for the next wave

dont trade with your emotions. ive literally never made money fomoing into a pump, ove learned that lesson and it seems so have you. selling a pump when everyone is optimistic and buying a dip when everyone says the projects is over is contrary to your instinct but its how you make money. also remember that theres larger powers at play and theyre trying to pull a fast one on you, always assume everyone here is 100% self interested and willing to deceive you for your money

Any big win is almost always followed by a greedy loss. It's the nature of the beast, easy come, easy go, learn your lesson and keep on trucking. Lost a few eth this month due to greed myself, but I'm still well up from earlier investments. Just gonna take a break and hold now, trading will age you
