Why yes I take unsecured loans out to invest in bankrupt companies and max out my AmEx before getting a warning giving me an effective $150k toward these efforts knowing damned well I could lose it all but am not troubled one cintella because if they do fail, I file suit for chapter 7 bankruptcy and just like that *snaps finger* poof, the debt is gone. It's a rogue management situation and internal hijacking of the company which predisposes them to send out narrative that serve their purpose. The votes of the board have been split in recent years. Hertz has large revenue, corporate subscribers and had decent cash reserves. There is little potential for chronic disruption in the car rental industry and the CARES successor will likely extend business loans when it is issued around July. I say this last point to emphasize that there are DELUSIONAL BRAINLETS who hold stock in cruise companies which have no hope of ever returning to normal operations, just wait until the COVID ship movies and their memes become a thing. Either I win big (10x my money) or I declare bankruptcy and lose nothing. In fact the prospect of losing everything makes this safer as it avoids the impropriety of the potential of bankruptcy fraud. You are not going to make it, ever.
