You can place buy and sell orders at specific prices and they won't fill if you don't get that price. I have options I'm trading and I see like twice a week it flashes up or down to completely stupid prices and I set orders to buy or sell when they reach these prices. Like, for 15 seconds the option will halve it's price one day, and then go back to the normal range it trades at. I have.
