Bretty good gig there, usually it doesn't pay quite that well. He must actually have a degree or something.
As a high-school dropout I left to Thailand in mid-2018 after the crypto crash and worked for about 7 months, went to vietnam and worked a few more, back to Thailand and worked another 4, then went to Nepal to have a break.

That a bit over 1 year of working online on building a couple sites have brought me in over a couple grand every month since then, and now one of them is bringing in about 6k/mo while I'm only working about 10-20hrs/week.
Could have never achieved this if I was still in the US with such high bills and so little freetime, but going abroad made it easy.
