Low carb diet helps me have more peace generally. Also only have to eat 1-2 times a day. Carbs is grazing throughout the day, more time thinking about food, mouth gets gunked up etc.

My experience too.. The other day I just ate a bunch of carbs and was literally lying down on the kitchen floor half asleep in the afternoon. When doing no carbs I have trouble going to sleep at a good time, stayed up until 6am last night looking at current events for example.

What about fat soluble vitamins, omega 3, d etc. Foods like Mackerel. This is brain food right. Normie carb diet is poor complex and easily absorb-able nutrients. carbs give good quick energy but especially if you are not active not sure if they are a good choice.

As mentioned earlier, only problem is I don't feel tired at night on low carb. I spend a lot of time not moving though, if I excercised more I think I would probably feel more tired at night even on low carb.. I normally eat ribeyes and salmon by the way, every day. Ribeye for breakfast around 4;30 ideally and salmon for lunch around 12 with glucose in between, sometimes a burger in between if very burdened. I used to eat sardines but I noticed inflammation which I associate with the tyramine and histamine content . Mackerel has too much potential toxins and the phospholipids are destroyed with the high heat processing. If you want PS your only common option are chicken hearts and cooking destoys PS. The only way to safely cook them without denaturing the PS is to sous vide them. I eat a salad without protein for dinner.

Yeah I eat wild sockeye salmon. The farmed stuff is so toxic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYYf8cLUV5E . Wild chum salmon is ok but it smells bad.

I eat steaks and mince too, one thing to keep an eye out for though. If you eat too much red meat can get iron overload, your body cant get rid of iron without bleeding so important not to overdo it with red meat.. One of the limitations with the Jordan Peterson diet.

I have been eating tinned sardines and mackerel for the last few months thanks for the heads up.

One read meat I really like is lamb. I like to cook lamb shank stews, you get good stuff from the bones in the slow cooking. Also lamb is always grass fed so it is generally a quality meat.

Other than that I eat some chicken, pork, eggs, cheese, greek yoghurt and the occasional liver. With some vegetables and fruits such as berries, quality vitamin d/k supplement.

One good aspect with cheese is that you have vitamin k, which is important to consume for proper absorption of vitamin d.

I’m a proponent of balanced diets long-term, but as a former fatass speaking, there is something to be said about melting a solid chunk of your weight first with the “Konami code” keto diet before going on a strict exercise regime.
