Stop drinking alcohol. Eat a Mediterranean diet. Stay well hydrated. Sleep 8 hours per might. Exercise.

People @48 would be happy to be 28, so enjoy your drinks.

Replace booze with another drink that's pseudo healthy. Your addiction won't go away, you need to replace it.

Kombucha worked for me. Shits delicious and has a ton of probiotics

You can't produce ATP from sugar. Visit ray peat forum to understand why. Lack of b-vitamins and liver malfunction are common suspects

You have shit genetics my friend. I'm also 28 and have been smoking since 14, doing hard drugs since 16, and drinking belligerently since 18. Still look like I'm in my early 20s. Some people just hit the wall earlier.

Also this. Some people have shit genetics. It doesn't make sense that some straight laced people look completely blown out before 30, and lots of alcoholics and druggies look fine past 40. Certainly doesn't help to do drugs and alcohol, but sometimes you're just fucked.

I didn't mean to give OP a defeatist attitude towards it, since there's certainly things that can help like /fit/, diet, wardrobe, and hair regrowth treatments. And there's always cosmetic surgery of course.

It's more likely that genetics determine how efficiently alcohol is metabolised and therefore how much it ages you.
Think of it like a normal distribution, you ignore the people who look appropriate for their age and focus on the outliers who look great despite drinking loads and terrible despite drinking little. It's perfectly plausible that the ones who look terrible would look even worse if they drank a lot and the ones who look great would look even better if they didn't drink a lot.
>t. quit drinking and look even better than ever despite already looking good for my age

I quit a few months ago. There’s no magic bullet, you just have to stop drinking. Worry about exercise and everything else once you’ve been sober for a while and you’re sure you won’t relapse.

I'm 23 and I was drinking a pint of vodka a day up until quitting 6 weeks ago. I noticed my tongue had turned yellow one day - thought I had liver disease and my life was over. A blood test revealed high liver enzyme levels but my doctor said they would eventually return to normal, so long as I don't resume drinking. You should quit; it's not worth it.
