why is it wrong for elite tech, finance, professional services, etc. firms to discriminate on the basis of race, but perfectly acceptable to discriminate on the basis of academic achievements and, by an extension of this, innate intelligence? in the same way that these companies parade around their female and negro diversity hires, why aren't they hiring people with low IQ as an underrepresented minority? why should i be excluded from making $300k/yr starting at facebook or google because i'm dumb, because of something i was born with and cannot help?

Standardized testing is also apparently racist. There's a push to desegregate NYC specialized schools which use a standardized admission test. The top schools are overwhelmingly Asian and White with a small hispanic population (mostly South American) and like 2% black. Of the black students almost all of them are children of immigrants from the West Indies or Africa. There are almost zero American blacks in these schools
