I don't know why my not enjoying your objects distresses you so. My question is that if your timepieces were suddenly dirt cheap, with no scarcity, widely available to anyone that wished to enjoy one (or one thousand), would they spark joy to you? If so, then you enjoy them for what they are, and what they do, or how they feel, or how they look. And that seems reasonable.
But if that availability makes them lose all appeal, then you don't really find joy in small personal timepieces at all. What really sparks joy for you is the idea of exclusivity, trendsetting, or projecting wealth and status. There are plenty of people who take joy from that, but strangely few who will say so out loud.
Which goes back to my question; why would I purchase one with unlimited money if they do not spark joy in me?
