Let's say that everything goes your way for Chainlink in terms of use case.

What exactly will happen? Why will people be using link? I haven't seen any utility in any coin since forever.

I'm giving you a chance to have me buy your bag.

If you take away anything from that, it might be the fact that LINK holders don't feel that they need to spoonfeed newfags. Interpret that however you like.

Link's success is ultimately tied into fundamentals. Linkies spamming and shilling has a very negligible effect on the price in the long term; and virtually none compared to gains realized via the project working in its intended way thereby creating the actual made it stacks.

So this type of psychology is really weak and is essentially a waste of time. In other words, the price isn't going to moon based solely on shilling, it's dependent on facts because as far as I've gathered link is dependent on use case.

What does it even mean, retard?

The only use case for a ponzi scam is to dump on degenerates like you. There is no other use case.

That is precisely why there is noting real except bullshit and slides lmao. No software, no nothing.

use case, my ass

Most LINK holders are nothing more than gaslighted sheep. They bought in because of the frog memes, $1k EOY delusion, FOMO watching its many scam pumps, and buying because they finally cracked seeing 5000 threads a week about it here.
They have no idea what LINK is. Mindless drones that don’t realize a lot of OGs took profits many times as they told them to never sell.

>What does it even mean, retard?

That's what I'm asking. I'm wondering what is the hypothetical situation where link has been adopted and is used for whatever it's supposed to be used for.

I ask this because there has never been a coin with use case (besides speculative investing), and yet holders seem to pride themselves on the impending use case. It's reminiscent of XRP.

I've been on this board a few months, and have never heard a coherent, articulate explanation. I've only ever seen meme's. The best is someone will paste a bunch of links. Is it really that difficult to explain? And if it is extremely esoteric, why would it see widespread investors?

Exactly, this is the longest pajeet campaign ever seen on biz.
People here are so gullible that they bought every sort of indian garbage, and they would buy again, if the amount of shilled posts comes back at high levels.
What's different is the cloud of delusion that surround this particular shitcoin, along with the low energy 2 years old memes that come with it.
Not even saying that this is not a good shitcoin, what pisses me off is the fact that link cultists are nasty

It seems to be reliant completely on shilling bagholders that circle jerk with each other about price predictions. It's hard to get excited in a project like that.

Fact is that we are extremely early, so actually none of the shitcoins (including bitcoin) have an use case, or they have different use cases from what they were created for.
None of those shitcoins is (and probably will be) a currency, for example.

Being early doesn't mean necessarily good things, being early is risky too, since no one knows how the entire crypto world will evolve.
Let's say that we are here because we believe that somehow those shitcoins will grow in value.

Problem is that more linkies believe (are sure) in some retarded scenario called singularity, in which they will rule the world because they bought $10k in chainlink 2 years ago.

>Link's success is ultimately tied into fundamentals
Centralized oracle company (like dozens of others) which just started out by telling people they're decentralized but never made it happen. Got bankrolled by a bunch of tech illiterate 3rd worlders and mouthbreathing NEETs who cannot into technology or programming so they still don't seem to get that its not normal for a software startup to not produce the software they promised after almost 3 years from starting date. The pajeet shills will tell you that they have it all figured out and that you'll have to wait until 2028 to see your gains in the same sentence.

Despite getting single-handedly BTFO by one guy (me) in numerous threads against a dozen or so linkoids who ultimately retreat and try and forget what I said in the next feelgood hugbox thread about making it, they still come here every day to talk about their ERC token. Which by the way, is just a standard Ethereum token. There is no difference between LINK and another ERC-777 or whatever designation token whatsoever other than the ticker symbol.

They will always dodge the fact that technically speaking, LINK is a fundraising token which has no technical purpose for their KYC bullshit oracle network.

You better listen to this guy. He has voluntarily adopted an online identity on an anonymous board so that people "know" him. When someone makes an online persona and desperately asks everyone to remember them, on an anonymous site, you know that person NEEDS (Yous).
So if everyone could just reply to his comment, doesn't really matter what you say, just reply, that would be great, thanks.
Detective I support you and your online identity, I think it's going very well for you.

Link has two purposes within the chainlink system. It is used as a payment for nodes, which is not that big a deal, but more importantly it is used as collateral and for staking penalties.

What this basically means is that people who want to run an oracle will need to hold LINK to be able to put up collateral. This is to incentivise good data and disincentive bribes etc.

This will in essence create demand for the token in proportion to how much the chainlink network is being used.
