19435366 No.19435366 [Reply] [Original]

So I found this ring in a public toilet sink and I wanted to know What it consists of before getting to like a pawn shop or something because they always try to scam you. I know you can’t give me an exact estimate from some blurry photos but any input is helpful. Maybe there are some dead giveaways that it’s fake that I don’t know about. Only thing I found out is that 925 means that it’s an alloy with 92,5 silver. The ring generally looks gold on the outside

From the looks, and the 925 it's cheap silver jewelry with glass (quarz) or plastic gems (they don't put zirconia or diamonds in such a ring).

Looks like an engagement ring, could be platinum, perhaps 10 bucks raw material not counting the stones, if that's a real engagement ring could be something between 2 and 10k retail, don't take anything below 200 whole sale, pawn shop will give you 20 bucks tops because they don't buy the stones nor the artisanry they'll offer raw material price, worst thing you can do is taken to one of those vultures.

Like anon said, you need to pay for appraisal but with out holding it you could either have a 10k jewel or one of them 1 buck rings that come out of chuck e cheeses machines.

You need to see a jew for this anon, looks like some bitch was getting her pussy plow on the side and forgot to put it back on

the 925 shows it's silver - 92.5% is sterling which is what most jewellery uses. Not a good sign for the diamonds being real though, as you wouldn't use that many diamonds with a cheap base.

OP sounds like a dumbass and a thief. I'd suggest OP shove the ring up their ass to see if it turns into a big diamond but we all know that roastie's O-Ring is already blown the fuck out. "Ladron" in case you speak monkey.

Why would you take it to a pawn shop? Why wouldn't you take it to a proper jewler to asses the value? Go to literally any reputable jewler in any mall and get it assessed. Pawn shops are degenerate thieves that prey on circumstance.

Who cares what you think, you are advertising that you are a huge brainlet right now.
From it's posted numbers, typical and standardized numbers for jewlers, it's either platinum(not commonly posted in 925, almost never)
Or it's 925 standard stirling. Not even worth 20$ an ounce.

No assay marks other than a crudely stamped 925? If it is genuinely silver, which is highly questionable, it's a low grade pleb-tier couple of quid ring. More likely it's some random mix of Chinesium and Covid and is likely worth pence at most.
