since btc inception in 08 (when btc was below one dollar), we've never had a prolonged recession or depression. We had just come out of the housing recession. if btc really is not a speculative asset and can prove its worth as a safe place to park capital in the eyes of the institutional investors, it needs to rip up when the stock market draws down into a depression later this year. Otherwise, btc is going to get wrecked and be sink with stocks. at that point, no matter how many lines are drawn, rationality goes out the door
