No. A lot of these properties are going to be hitting the market soon. Most of the current mortgage forbearance offerings are not available for investment properties like short term rentals - these people are getting killed. On top of that several major lenders (like Chase) are no longer buying mortgages that don't have a minimum of 20% down payment. Could be a pretty ripe buying situation soon, but I would give it another 6 months or so. I'm hoping to scoop up a property or two this winter if things play out well.
