Nocoinfag here, have been sceptical of crypto so far. However, it does not seem that implausible that someone an start with 1k to invest in shitcoins, time pnds correctly, skip pajeet scams, and end up with 6 figures.

Anyone of you made 6 figures by crypto-investing? If yes, you're allowed to post in this thread. Otherwise, fuck off.

i almost bought 2 ETH worth of ESH for 4 cents each a month ago when somebody first posted about the GHOST airdrop but because i'm a US resident they make it nearly impossible to buy shitcoins legally. would have made 20K if i had sold at the top (which i prob wouldn't have since i would have gotten greedy) but still lost a ton of fucking money because of the fucking awful US government.

oh well. now i know how to get around most of those restrictions with a VPN but i wish i had known a month ago.

you're pretty bad at this. i've only been here like 8 months and i've made over 5k. i mean i bought link at $1.50 and then watched it go to $5 before corona fucked things up. sold most of my stack at $4 as it was tumbling down, bought back at $2 to double my stack.

put $500 in RPL at 0.88 and sold at $3. there are plenty of opportunities to make a quick buck. just try to avoid the pajeet/discord pump and dumps and sell quickly when shit goes up. mostly i'll just recoup my initial investment and then keep whatever is left for long term if i believe in it.

Correct OP, It's easier to get rich investing in microcaps than any other method in crypto. When you margin trade the house can see your trades and will liquidate you. If you invest in large cap coins like Bitcoin, you will be lucky to 10x over the next decade. If you invest a couple hundred dollars in a solid microcap, you could 1000x your money overnight.

You don't have to believe me, check what whales are doing. Go to Etherscan and analyze the top wallets of ERC20 projects and you will see that there are multiple 1million + dollar whales that made it from investing in a variety of microcaps, and they continue to do the same.

My current picks are 0xMR (mineable privacy project with no pre-mine and zkSNARKs, VYA (about to reduce their supply x100 and list on a major exchange), ECIT (Profit sharing for Eternal Casino).

My current portfolio is just shy of a million, all in Link. If I sold it all I wouldn’t consider that “making it” since I’d likely have to still work or manage investments properly to generate a livable income which is also essentially work.

Anyway I started with a few BTC back in 2016, put all my savings (7-8k) into ETH in early 2017, then ANS, then Link. Random shitcoins along the way but those likely lost me money. I reckon it’s damn near impossible these days to do what you could have during the 16-17’ bull run. All you had to do is buy and hold, which is all I did. I never really traded. I thank God every day I followed the Link research here and went all in otherwise I’d still be down 80% of my ath from 2017. Instead I’m up 4x since then. My best advice is just go all in Link and hold. Save yourself the headache and potentially losing everything gambling on random shitcoins that won’t amount to anything unless Link itself takes off

How can you justify the enormous evaluation when they have achieved close to nothing in 3 years of working on the project (started in July 2017)?

Listing some well known investors who got 10x discounted tokens does not count as a valid argument. A decent project should have more going on for it than just few known investors.

There will be a second coronavirus wave in September, once temperatures get colder and sun UV-light stops quickly sterilising surfaces. I'm a doctor in training, and I think it's almost inevitable. No idea about price. Impossible to predict but I’ve been convinced from the start I don’t believe we’ll see major movement ($10+) until staking is announced or actually implemented. It’s anyone’s guess how long that could be. For now I’m just patiently waiting.

I don’t swing but the days before the “national emergency” had me the most confident I’ve ever been about an impending crash. I kick myself for not selling a small portion. That being said I’ll probably sell 5-10% at the end of summer in preparation for a second wave of Covid-19. Assuming the research points that way and Link doesn’t look to make any significant progress. Worst case if nothing happens I’ll pay off all my debt and have a nice sum to diversify into other options

I day trade in the six figures, but only rarely crypto. I'll go big into BTC if it's doing multiple quick jumps just to get in on one jump for a quick profit.
