19189598 No.19189598 [Reply] [Original]

I just stumbled upon this while researching that RING coin from another thread. This shit is bonkers and way over my head so I will copy paste some key points I've found. I have not seen it be shilled anywhere.

"Loopring (LRC) is an open protocol for scalable non-custodial exchanges on Ethereum. The Loopring protocol smart contracts and zero-knowledge proof circuits allow the building of high-performance DEXes using a zkRollup construction. This allows for higher throughput and lower settlement costs without sacrificing Ethereum-level security guarantees."

"Loopring 3.0 can settle up to 2,025 trades per second while guaranteeing the same level of security as the underlying Ethereum blockchain. This is made possible by using a construction called zkRollup, and a feature called On-Chain Data Availability, or OCDA. If OCDA is disabled, Loopring throughput becomes as high as 16,400 trades per second..."

"The settlement cost is roughly $150 USD per million trades, which covers the gas for Ethereum transactions and the cost of proof generation on cloud computing platforms."

"All LRC holders can stake LRC to earn part of the protocol fees paid by all exchanges built on top of Loopring. 70% of the protocol fees are rewarded to stakers, 20% will be used to fund the Loopring DAO, and the remaining 10% will be burned."

"We also believe that Loopring's performance is sufficient for professional traders and market makers to deploy algorithmic strategies and other automated trading bots. This was not previously possible on any DEX as it was prohibitively slow and expensive. By building on top of Loopring 3.0, orderbook-based DEXes can be commercially viable for the first time."

And its available on Uniswap. You fuckers are welcome

I also see it is on binance....is this worth it? It looks like it pumped massively back during the last bullrun, but it also slightly pumped the last few days. Tempted to buy but I don't wanna get dumped on, why would this be a good buy? Has anything notable happened with this shitcoin recently?

No idea man. As I said I just stumbled across it and it looked too good not to share. Especially since I fucking found it meaning it hasnt been being shilled anywhere. And im white

Noon OP thinks no one knows about loopring. He talks about it like it's new.

The project has been arou d and vitalik talks about loopring

I remember PnD this shitcoin back in late 2017. First big springboard into a real portfolio. Good times

It’s not a scam like esh but it’s not a solid idea guys. The world doesn’t need another DEX anytime soon.

It's a 2017 chink shitcoin, if you haven't heard of it I can only assume you're pretty new at this and shouldn't be gambling on alts. There are platforms (such as Uniswap) where you can trade ERC20 scam tokens without needing yet another ERC20 scam token like Kyber, Loopring or 0x to use the exchange.

Have you looked at Loopring 3.0? Gas transactions are fractions of a cent and TPS is phenomenal. And there is staking now..

Been in LRC since 2017 and made a shit-ton of money on the 2018 alt run. This is one of the gems from 2017 that'll be revived next cycle and pull another 10-20x from here.

It looks like they are making their revival time now. I already got a bag.

How many looprings to make it? Been following for years, great project. I kind of want a bag to stake but a 90 day lock up for rewards sounds like a long time.

90 sounds like the standard for me. 1 ETH just got me a massive bag though

It's the scalability solution that makes ETH - along with any and all other chains - viable for large-scale operation.
