Here's a real gem /biz/ not these shitcoins you keep seeing that pump and dump daily. Opacity is a decentralized cloud storage provider that has NO access to any data you post, you sign up only using their crypto and everything is encrypted so only you or people you share it to can download it. On top of that, you can get 2TB worth of storage for 25 cents for a YEAR, normally this would cost somewhere in the ballpark of $120-200 on a normal cloud storage provider.

>marketcap is $1m
>listed on a major exchange (Kucoin)
>CEO (and most of the team) have spent decades working at Fortune 100 companies
>people in the warez scene will soon flock to Opacity
>slick desktop app, they're getting ready to release their mobile app

This isn't some random shitcoin to pump and dump, this is an obvious medium/long term hold. In a way, this is more secure then Dropbox/Google from a security standpoint. Normal accounts on cloud storage providers that use email:pass can get leaked if you sign up with the same information on other sites or bruteforced, they give you a long handle that's 128 characters long, it's impossible to be bruteforced. This is a very well thought out project with active and skilled developers.

I was wondering when this would get shilled, I've got x3 2TB plans that I paid 50 cents for back in March, almost all full of anime/VNs/games that I share. I've made close to $300~ in the last 2 months using Opacity, I'll upload games and then run it through adfly and share it, not a single game has been removed yet.

You're actually retarded, Siacoin's model has been around since 2016 and they're very similar. SC is at 86m market cap, OPQ is at 1m, the only difference is OPQ is cheaper and has a better plan long-term then SC. Do your own research instead of random fud, pajeet. You're right. They're using Amazon servers right now. That's not a secret. They built the user interface and account handling first. They're now starting to work an the decentralization.
But what I understood they don't want to build a new system but use existing decentralization ideas, like siacoin or storj. Just put their easy to use, easy to understand system on it. A new white paper is on the way.

I'm a longtime supporter of the opq idea. Don't ruin it now with your pump and dump. Hold this long term if you're convinced, or just don't buy into it

>> No.19181701

And yes, they're obviously operating at a huge loss right now.
They need to scale the business first. Get users and build the decentralization system and get hosts. Then the price will converge to a sustainable. Maybe it works, maybe not. Businesses can fail, you know?

>> No.19181742

>>19181701
It's almost a forgone conclusion that it will fail anon. They had most of it not all their runway stolen by Bruno, and no major investors. Investing in this now is just throwing your money into a giant dumpster fire.

>> No.19182272

Runway isnt in danger. The project is surviving for nearly a year without funds. Costs for storage are incredibly low and they keep developing without getting paid for it!
I guess its one of the best teams putting so much effort into their project. Most other projects would have gone up at the point the funds were empty.
They keep delivering over and over and its growing. Slowly but steady. Loving OPQ more and more.

what part of your post is supposed to instill confidence? the part where people are working for free? the bit where storage is apparently so cheap there's literally no reason for hundreds of thousands of competitors to spring up overnight? i know of at least 18 of these crypto projects.

what honestly makes you think this one is actually going to receive any use case?
the market has already determined that dClouds are essentially worthless and only desirable for transacting illegal porn anonymously.

ive done all the market research, things like this will never catch on outside of an illegal use case.

That's a false statement. There are big cloud storage projects like sia and storj.

But they're more complicated. Opq biggest advantage is usability. And that's the most important. Who cares about tech? Everybody could build Facebook. It's the platform, that's important.
