You have to have a LOT of time to scour this board, you can't just buy blindly, you gotta be continuously vetting shitcoins for the more appealing looking projects. Beyond that you have to be a good judge of character. The HEX and ESH gains should make perfectly clear sense to you.

The top 20's have already made fortunes and the only way to make a sizable return would be acknowledging the fact that the top 20's move in unison i.e. when BTC moves, so do the others. And therefore there would have to be a fundamental shift in moving to cryptocurrency to make a large return there, so in that sense it wouldn't matter if you invested in ETH or LINK (although I think ETH is much more attractive).

Yeah, I spend inordinate amounts of time on here and feel as though I can pick out the true gems (HEX, ESH, RPL) from the poop (VIDT, ARPA, SKY, etc)...I just have 2 hang-ups I guess: A) I fear a larger market correction that will throw a wrench in my trading plan, i.e. BTC flash crashes and my altcoins dump extra hard...and B) Feels bad buying into a coin that is going vertically already, even if it just started and you think it has further upside.
