Also DollarSavingsDirect is still at 1.5% and I've found they're usually pretty high. They've been really good to me every time I use them.

Same here bruv. Not that I use my savings but the fact they offered industry leading rates showed me they were lowest on the jew chart. Oh well, bank hunting can be fun. I also already have a cc with C1....

My savings account went from 1.45 to 1.05 from the start of the year to now. I was looking for a reason to move to some kind of investy, /biz/ type thing so on one level I'm glad.

I literally just switched to them last month. Will my goyscore take a hit if I open checking with chase and just let ally fester in the corner?

I wouldn't bother. Nowhere is good. Chase has a shit ton of maintenance fees in their fine print, in fact their monthly account maintenance fee will far outweigh the amount you make in interest unless you have a substantial sum in their. Ally is the best of the worst desu.

Who says he has all of his net worth in cash. You don't have to be 100% invested at all times. I have 15% of my net worth in cash atm. I wish I could get 1.5%/ year on that. Here in Europe many banks have negative interest rates for large bank account balances.

If you have $100k sitting in cash, 1.5% is $1.5k/ year. That's not "peanuts" even if you're wealthy. If you want to /make it/ you should care about these things. They add up. If normies took the time to optimize their savings, insurances, phone bill, internet bill, mortages etc. they could probably save $3k+/ year on average for a couple of hours of works. But they don't because "that's just peanuts". That's why they stay poor.

Thanks, USAA has been rotten to me for so long I finally decided to root them out. Ally was getting rave reviews at the time and the 1.5% interest on savings was at least a positive. Funny enough, I did have an account with Chase and accrued about 100 dollars in fees because I didn't fund the account for three months. They then sent me a check for that amount and closed the account (?) on the basis that they didn't "alert" me of my overdraft fees lol so I made out.

Chase is a piece a shit bank, no idea how they're still in business. I shopped around because I just wanted a good interest rate and Ally was the best. But this was almost 2 years ago, times were different and FED interest rates were different
