How can we extract information from volume? I mean, more volume represents what exactly?

>> No.1904980

>>1904937

Not the volume itself but the change in volume.
If there is a sudden raise in volume
>Its a good thing, More people are getting interested in coin
If volume is falling down
>Its a bad thing. Traders are not interested in coin anymore.

For example i have been looking at the volume of Lisk and saw that it went from 500 to 5000 last week and price went from 9K to 32K.
After that there was a dip on Sunday:
Volume dropped to 700
and price dropped to 25K.
Today Volume went to 1400 and price is up at 30K again.

So lisk is a good example of a good coin or a bad coin, since it's back in the 30k's again with a lower volume?

I don't know if Lisk is good or bad as a coin.
I haven't researched the required technical details for investing long-term.

I am talking about predicting Pumps and Dumps to make some quick bucks short-time. (daytrading)

For example, (Lisk as an example again)
At the moment:

>Volume: 1400
>Price: 30K average (29K-31K)

-If you see the price stays in the same (29K-31K) limits but the Volume starts going down, then you should quickly sell it for that (29K-31K) because price is very probably going to drop soon.

-If you see the price stays in the same (29K-31K) limits but the volume is starting go up it means you must buy lisk quickly for that (29K-31K) price, because the price will soon go up.

Sounds pretty cool desu

too bad that means quitting your daytime job to monitor charts all day, no way you can do both at the same time unless you already have an office job

But when it's out of season.

Do research

Read charts

Accumulate at bottom

Wait for pump sell with profit

I but winter coats in the summer and shorts in the winter

What software/website tracks changes in volume?

Depends on what coin you choose.

I chose Lisk for the example and Poloniex has 85% of Lisk´s total volume

So in this case its enough to look at the volume only on Polo.

(you can ignore all the small exchanges cause there is no stability and they don't represent shit)

There are tools that can do this automatically and notify/alert you of changes.

>>1905148

Depends if you use Android, Iphone/IOS or PC but you can easily find these kind of tools from appstore or google.

for example:
