Sergey's timeslot is 4:15PM EST May 8th

Greatly appreciated if someone here is able to show the livestream. It should be solid. Yorke Rhodes from Microsoft and John Wolpert are speaking a couple hours before him too.

We are all going to make it. Ian Kleane on the 13th the day after the Halving. Microsoft plug-in to use Chainlink oracles in Microsoft Office, Oracle integration planned in Q3.

This is just off the top of my head. Tons of news slowly coming out the rest of this year!

It will be shit as always, nothing of substance ever comes out and price dumps 10-20c.

Consensus will be the one to watch. That's the biggest conference of the year (along with Devcon) and last year that's where Sergey announced mainnet.

Well staking is to be expected likely in this quarter, but closer to July based on Github. Anyone of these speeches he could announce it.

>>18922059

Is there a date set up for Consensus yet? Baseline Protocol is going to go live soon I'm sure for a lot of these companies, which means staking needs to be announced first you'd think.

Is there anything left after staking? Staking is basically the final boss right?

>>18922334
Yes.

Staking is unironically the key. If it doesnt happen a year from tje start of staking, it never will.

Yes its key once they get reputation and staking set up the network will flourish on its own from use. Staking will lock up the majority of the current circulating supply and future supply created from staking dividends. Feedback loop for cost savings.

Hmm They have a whole hour slot as well. It will be interesting next few months for sure.

Recap me the eth timeline frens. Im just thinking about how the virus is disrupting boomer tier centres of trust. The africans submitting fruit and goat for testing with positive results. The desire for paperless everything, the lack of physical contact, and the removal of centres of society all point to moon. Thanks corona chan
We're all in this together.

I mean it is interesting that blockchain and crypto in general is a solution to Covid. It definitely feels engineered to some degree. I would bet a lot of jobs that were laid off won't be coming back either, this was an excellent excuse to unemployee millions of people and implement automation. Covid will be blamed and not corporations laying those people off for more profits. Either way the elite are happy.

It's fair trade if normans get burned while I get to work on my own things and not have to worry about finances. Also automation is liberation. Bring on ubi
