there's a lot that goes into options. remember 2 things:
1. liquidity is a lot lower. sometimes finding people to sell your options back to is hard.
2. options expire, and you lose what you paid for it, regardless of whether it's in the money or not. you just profit if you bought it cheap enough that your cost basis on the option plus cost of exercise is less than market price.
