BTC just had a blow off top and we're still in a bearish trend. Right now everything is overbought. I'd wait maybe 2 weeks until things calm down and pick a direction, which is in all likelihood way the fuck down. 2500 BTC in the next month would not even phase me. ~20 dollar LTC is also in the realm of rather realistic scenarios. So if you're buying, make sure you average out. It could go to the moon. Crypto is irrational.

the reason /biz/ hates LTC is because its a literal 1:1 copy of Bitcoin with a different hashing algoritm. in the 7 to 8 years it has existed it has always been a 1:1 exact copy. The only thing this coin ever did was make charlton dump the top -lee rich.

This is blatantly false. LTC uses a different algorithm, yes. It's also faster, cheaper, has fully operational lightning network features and is now getting privacy features. BTC often copies things already implemented in LTC, not the other way around.
