My Micro Econ class was cool. Should I major in Math & Economics? Business undergrad is boring.

Econ fag here, did social science major and then swapped to micro. Overall liked it and it allows you a good foot into data analytics especially if you go further into econometrics. Take a few more stats courses though as micro econ that pays will use a lot of stats and if you don't like stats then it may not be worth while.

If you want a 4.0 when applying to grad schools, absolutely

This, 3.9 in econ and math (4.0 within econ). Nobody's interested in hiring a person with my skillset right now I guess so I'm going to be taking the GRE soon. Just gotta finish finals then I'll start studying for it.

Do they seriously care?

You need at least a 3.8 to be competitive based on what my professors told me. I wouldnt worry about it, even if you dont get into the top 5, which isn't likely anyway unless you went to an elite undergrad, there are still plenty of good graduate programs.
