Well that was a week ago and I haven't heard anything from them, I'll send then an email later this week and see what they say. If 2 weeks go by and I haven't gotten any money from them then I'll go to the property management company. I've done a lot of work for other landlords through them and they've always gotten any issues resolved pretty quickly. Usually I work with the property management company directly and just send them the bill which they pay themselves and then bill out the landlord for the repairs or take the money out of the rental income. These people wanted to "work directly with the contractors" instead of having the property management company be the middleman. They're also from out of state (they live in Washington and bought these run-down apartments here in Texas). The wife works for Boeing so that's a pretty bad sign right there too...
