Lagging derivative TA indicators are shit, FA is shit, PRICE ACTION is the way. Get the lines off your chart. Forget muh recession, muh virus, muh sunk cost. Trade what is and now. If the price is moving up, buy. If the price is moving down, sell. It's as simple as it is. Higher highs and higher lows you buy. Lower highs and lower lows you sell. As long as the price trend persists stay in. Use trailing stops, when the stop is breached wait for confirmation of the next trend and get back in. At least 2 rounds of higher/higher or lower/lower. Go in, SET A STOP and let the trade run its course.
Those busy making actual money trading the markets won't waste time charging $39 a month for the "secret". Traders with real edge treat the market like an ATM machine pulling 5 or 6 figures a day in a futures account. The furus on sim use sleight of hand to fool dupes into forking over cash for a fake dream. The only way is to read everything you can and piece together what works. Even the best books like Market Wizards won't give away the store, but you'll get a taste. It's on you to sift for the nugget of practical truth. Find that then practice as long as it takes. I like price action in the direction of the trend. Trading reversals is attractive but for most it's fool's gold. You have to nail it every time and nobody is that accurate without a lot of talent and decades of experience. Trending price action however is how you can get it done and how you win. No courses, trading rooms, or furus who don't trade yet get rich off your subscription fees. Just you and the chart. Now get rich.
Pro tip: if you don't think the fake furus browse /biz/, watch how many of them reply trying to deny the imminent truth of their lies

LJPC-- La Jolla has a drug that is used for Septic Shock. This is one of the many possible outcomes of having Covid. It's not near as sexy as an anti viral or a cure.. but they have been granted emergency use all over the world and I am of the mind that whenever earnings come they are going to be very improved. There is a delicate line herewith the Covid stocks-- even if you come up with an answer there will be such pressure not to price gouge. So taking on a symptom... like septic shock and coming through the back door with a La Jolla is a nice way of getting in on the action without a spotlight on your companies morals. >Do you close out your positions before close every day?
Yep though sometimes a trade takes seconds, sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes all day but no longer than that.
>This just sounds like you open a position in the morning and set a stop in the trend's general direction
Of course that's the ideal however..
>but how do you know it won't turn on you?
If it does then I just make less money since I use a trailing stop
>Maybe I'm missing something basic
Fundamentally this rests on the ability to spot a legitimate trend and proper risk management when you're wrong. The training wheels consist of watching for 2 higher highs and 2 lower lows in a strong upward movement then get in when the second higher high pulls back to roughly the spot you expect it to be should the trend continue unabated. Set your stop just under the previous higher low. If that stop is breached it's likely the trend has reversed. Should you immediately get in profit and the trend continue with strength, either move your stop up manually or set it to trail. For a downward trend do everything the other way.
When you have enough experience you'll get better at spotting false trends and your win rate will increase. But just this babby's first price action trading set up should net you more than you lose as long as you let your winners run and are strict in not moving your the wrong way or adding to losses by averaging down.

To be honest I’m kinda pissed crypto aren’t dropping even a bit lately. Bought 2 dips and made some money. Now it’s just rocket, hover, rocket, hover. It’s probably better I don’t invest anyways. Getting better returns on trading stocks right now anyways. 1-2% in a day vs 2% in a few weeks is hell of a lot nicer.

>I keep waiting to short it and apparently I’m just a retard.
In short, oil is a commodity that as soon as you start needing to put it into storage the price of an oil future then has to account for cost of carry. There is a growing buffer with the cost associated with having to store the barrels of oil until it can actually be sold to a refinery, dictated by demand. The actual "spot" price of the oil, the price once you deliver it to a refinery will be less.
What we have right now is not only contango but maybe even "super contango" because storage is running out literally everywhere in the world. The cost of carry begins increasing more and more because anyone taking your oil will now have to build new storage they wouldn't need 99.9% of the time.
USO shifted to contracts 1-2 months out because of how it got burned from contango for May. But now its value is tied to the cost of carry exclusively and that is always a losing battle.
People in this general have been warning casual investors for weeks about oil contango. There is no get rich quick scheme here in oil contracts. Don't buy USO.

>The U.S. is not even “remotely prepared” to re-open, an expert said on Tuesday as some states are set to lift lockdowns that had been imposed to contain the coronavirus outbreak.

“We’re not remotely prepared neither in terms of the epidemiology of the outbreak in the United States, nor in terms of our preparedness capacities to begin suppressing this virus in ways other than through social distancing,” said Jeremy Konyndyk, senior policy fellow at the Center for Global Development, a think tank. His expertise includes global outbreak preparedness.

I really hope I’m not the only one who watched Cramer on equal this morning, gonna have to record and watch today’s show too.

He spelled out so much that people aren’t going to want to hear about how the administration and congress fucked up the PPP to help their friends. And he said if they talk about any of that they’ll be denied access and trump with call them fake news or lamestream. Very good stuff.

Whats happening is so fucked up but it’ll be hidden behind a smokescreen of “no it was the banks, no it was the other political party!” Bullshit.
