My kid has about $1,000 in her savings account that I contribute to monthly. I deposit around $50/mo and all holiday/birthday money she gets gets deposited as well.
What is the best use of this money? I'm familiar with stocks and crypto (kid has ~.5 BTC as well).

I've seen Vanguard thrown around a lot for these types of questions, but am unfamiliar with territory of investment. I have a brokerage account with fidelity where I manage a stock portfolio. Do I purchase the 'stocks' (?) there or like, through my bank?
I'm looking to basically tell my kid in twenty years that they're gonna be okay for a while, because they have a nice nest egg, that grew over the years to be extremely helpful.

TL;DR- Help a crypto/stock options gambler invest his kid's money for their future

You retarded fuck. The stock market is over for the next 10 years.
Go and buy that future hoe some LINK. She will be better off with it longterm than with BTC.
Who knows if King shitcoin will be even around at that time. LINK will be rare as fuck in 15 to 20 years

Its for your childs future. Put it in crypto and diversify it among the top 20 actual currency coins, like BCH, LTC, DASH etc. Avoid BSV and XRP.

Guess I should have remembered this is biz. Crypto is my main investment. I have 13k Link, among other various cryptos I believe in.

The stock market is fucked, or the stock market should be fucked-but isn't. I was like you not too long ago, very crypto-only. Now that I've made some money and am comfortable with my crypto holdings, I've started directing my monthly savings to a market that just got decimated 50-75% and is currently at historic lows, as I feel any semi-responsible investor should.

The point is that its for MANY years in the future, and whatever you put in will 100x by that time. It does not make sense to buy stocks or any of that bullshit mainstream financial tools etc.

Also its at 24,000/29,000 right now. Thats not down 50-75%. If anything, a second crash is going to happen in the next few months. This is unsustainable and that is inflated purely based on FED brrrrrrrring.

put like 20% of it in link, but do not go all in, its your kid's. imagine an adult entrusted you with their money, you wouldnt dump it all in link or any crypto. i would say maybe something like the best savings fund you can find or mayyyybe some faang stock or something.

i guess id say 20% link, 30% faang stocks or other good stable normie ones, and 50% in a savings account, look into overseas ones with foreign banks, idk much and if its viable but i heard they had higher growth rates. unsure about exchange fees legality and etc though

>buying a stabilizer tool as an investment that merely matches inflation
May as well just put it in a bank. You people realize the reason gold is always "manipulated" downward is that as soon as it goes up in relation to anything else, Billionaires like Kevin O'Leary sell it right?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnFJvkJSQJo

Gold is 5% of billionaires profiles. If it becomes 6%, they sell. If it becomes 4%, they buy. It stabilizes them from losses. Thats ALL its for. They make sure it matches the market/dollar purchasing power, up or down.
