2% green cap it

>> No.18717517

Hello frens. SOXL is the answer. Face it. Semiconductors are crack in all but name. The desire for newer, faster, more is insatiable. Computers, GPUs, self-driving electric cars, AI enhanced smartphones, medical devices, microcontrollers, networking gear, machine learning, surveillance, infrastructure, military, the list is endless. No matter how many cores, how fast or efficient, demand requires bigger, faster, cheaper, better. The clamor for fresh silicon gives nary shit for national identity, creed, hue, gender or other vain conceit; the multitude speaks in singular. The plea: semiconductor.
SOXL couples a single ETF entry point with the the best companies the space has to offer then pushes these already stellar returns to the limit with 3x leverage. With SOXL your economic interests are aligned with hardware powerhouses TSM, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Intel, Broadcom, AMD, Micron, Texas Instruments, Applied Materials, et al. Real tech companies with innovative products people want, not """tech""" """companies""" pushing shitty ads. And like all leveraged ETFs, SOXL is rebalanced daily, deftly mitigating margin risks.
In the last 7 years, barring the coronavirus interruption, SOXL has exploded over 55x yet still we are early. Semiconductor growth will proceed exponentially until every viable space is saturated with it. This is a fait accompli; the sheer number of interested parties and compelling outcomes make it so. The injection of increasingly compact and efficient sensors, microcontrollers, information processing and storage into everywhere and everything will be this era's seminal revolution, an economic revolution with SOXL holders planted firmly at the receiving end.
Stop waiting for more "pullback". The crash was a gift and fretting over the exact bottom is meaningless. Deliberation is over; waiting.. is a failure mode. Now. Buy it now.

How much of a FPS difference would you say there would be between 16" and 20" barrel in .308?
Is the extra 4" really change much under 300 yards? Ballistics wise I know the round prefers longer barrels more towards the 24-28" range but for a DMR build I don't think the extra 4" would mean much and the 16" barrel would give a preferable overall length

Pretty consistently about 4k a month with 40-50k collateral. I roll up and down a lot so it varies and the collateral varies. I could make more but I sell a bit out of the money because should I get assigned I actually want the shares. Otherwise it's free money and I just sell more. I like TQQQ out of most of the leveraged ETFs because it has weekly options and the spreads are pretty tight. The same can't be said for SOXL, SPXL, etc. though UPRO does have weeklies however the spreads kind of suck

>What do you usually set your stop loss at? That's something I still haven't completely mastered with options.
Yeah it's kind of tough and you have to adjust often. A lot of times I don't actually set stops on my puts just on shares that I buy and for those I try to find the sweet spot where if the price went there it would most likely signal a trend change. Like if we're in an uptrend like we are now with higher highs and higher lows, I might set the stop a bit under the most recent higher low and move it up as the trend continues.
As far as options you have to keep up with the greeks and adjust more often. I look at the underlying and find where on the chart is the likely trend change confirmation like I mentioned before then do the math with Delta and Gamma on the option to find where the option price would most likely be and set the stop there. It's tedious but if you want stops on your options it's the most exact method I've found

It is both at once. The market is held up by select stocks and industries, everything is on the biggest dip ever and rides with the big winners but the entire rest of the market is on a razor thin edge and plummets the moment the big boys have a down day.

Also, it is quite simple really. Keep some things on cash or just throw money at tankers and other stocks that will soar inversely with the market. If the market goes up, you win with everything you bought at the dip. If market goes down, you cash out of your inverse-correlated stocks and buy the dip. Trying to predict which way the market will go is a losing game, I got burned hard and so will you. Just set it up so you win both ways and stop worrying. Full bears and full bulls are both retards.

I think this is actually a decent position. I work in the video game industry and 6 months before coronachan a major mobile game developer told me they have zero advertising spend on facebook as none of their players use it. They post updates on FB simply out of habit, which is the only reason why anyone else uses these older social media platforms like FB and IG.

Game devs are hyper-sensitive to changes in ROI on their marketing and are uniquely placed to measure impact. Game players skew young and represent FB's future (lack of) audience. Covid-19 will affect FB's main advertising revenue stream as every consumer company hoards cash and cuts expenses. Meanwhile, the short advertising period for the presidential campaign (since the money spigot doesn't get turned on until the candidates are selected and that won't be until August for both Dems and Reps) will cause ad revenue from the election to disappoint as well.

Short FB. The expiration is a bit sooner than I'd go for, but I think it's the right idea.

The bigger issue is the generational divide that keeps growing. Just look at the recent articles eviscerating millennials for being "entitled", because they want housing prices to fall.

There's also a major issue growing with unemployment, where the guys working at the grocery store are making less than the people sitting at home.

I feel like it’d be an offense to this place/thread.

Just saying that if that’s not a recession, they have a stability plan, a huge one, and if that’s the case we’re gonna be rich. The gamble of gamble, as with most crisis (even if this one is intriguing by its wide).

I myself begging on connected cities/nations in 5 years. Means FB, AAPL, TSLA, ect... and other major behemoths. In one/two, we’ll see the rise of new industries/groups that will bring novelty to that plan.
Oil, tankers, planes are now highly risky, while nutrition, farmer robots, local resorts and other stuff like that would be interesting.

My two, kinda awkward I guess, cents. Now I’m back to learning and lurking.

>> No.18718768

>>18718647
We managed to postpone, but only a handful of dates were available, so the wedding is now on a Sunday instead of a Saturday. A lot of people have RSVP'd "no" because they're still afraid of corona (wedding rescheduled to August). Some vendors want to cancel outright, and if they do you need to fight over your payments (not even including the deposits here). And then we had a honeymoon to Hawaii planned, first class flight and everything. Hotels gave refunds, airline wants to give limited-use credit, and all other excursions and activities you're on your own to get a refund. Tour companies are hurting, so none want to give money back, and some are "closed" such that you can't reach anyone regardless.

For most people cancelling weddings, they will likely either lose deposits, or pay more for a different, less desirable date. For vendors, they're losing a significant chunk of the season that won't be made up (some are cancelling, and even with postponed weddings there are only so many in a year). I wouldn't be surprised if a ton of wedding vendors go out of business.

It’s retail buyers propping it up bc they assume rational thought will come back. The middle class had lots on the sidelines. Might as well jump in bc if they keep the lockdowns going, USD is done for anyway as it devolves into every man for himself and having a family becomes a liability

Lol. That other guy actully believes it. Its easy for big firms to take retails money like this. Pocket change in there eyes but cant risk the little guy succeeding. Funny how many normies who work for financial firms would likely get mad that ypu use robinhood and succeed

You’re way behind already if u need that. Every time I was on gib time, my life was worse after. Sure there are exceptions but we’re talking society wise. I'm convinced weebs, after consuming enough anime and manga, suffer from acute brain-rot that renders them unable to form coherent thoughts or to interpret the real world with accuracy.
