Nigga you can get 1 year worth of emergency food for $1200-$1500 and it would be better than that garbage.

A good freeze-drier can cost around or at least 4k. Then you need thousands more in food of all kinds to prepare. And then you need to buy the containers and packets to seal it all away for long-term storage. 3k does not seem like a bad deal, and the food is decent with a little doctoring. What’s the hostility, you’ve got something better - what is it? Could any of you even afford a purchase like this? I’ve got several boxes of MREs and hundreds of cans of King Oscar Sardines stacked to the ceiling. A big swimming pool of water for use in a high-quality gravity fed filtration system if the grid goes down for an extended period.
Let’s read yoUr solutions.

Remember, do the opposite of what /biz/ says OP

Imagine in a business-as-usual society your food budget is $7 a day. That's poor guy status, but just imagine.

7 X 365 = $2,555

Which isn't too far from what you're considering buying.

What you're considering buying ALSO have 25 year shelf life. Granted, the flavors and meals may be bland and not great tasting, you're getting the needed calorie intake every day to survive and not face malnourishment.

Finally, with the recent Covid-19 scare proving to the world we are fully capable of running into supply shortages, upcoming elections, and several economic happenings that haven't even had time to settle in, I think it's a very wise investment OP.

Toiler paper shortages were a sign. Imagine had it gone on longer or been worse, the food supply disruption could have led to mass civil unrest.

Just fucking buy it OP

This guy gets it. So it is my belief that where we are right now is towards the end of the previews. The main event has yet to begin. We’re going to have our “back to normal” phase. I’m thinking by end of summer or sometime into the fall, we’ll see the markets roll over and puke again. It will be much longer lasting. Actually, I think it will be a total unwinding of the largest and longest running Ponzi scheme in world history. In other words, the end of everything. The derivatives bubble will finally burst. What comes after such an event? A new, miracle system that was already built..ready to roll out. Or pure chaos, famine, and world war. Either way, I’m not wasting the precious time I’ve been given with this bounce. I’m topping off everything right now.

Lots of normies are feeling it coming. There's too much about to happen. And you're absolutely right, there will be a "back to normal" phase and that will last until October the latest, if we are lucky.
