I got a hunch this shitcoin is gonna moon at some point. I've spent the last week researching this and getting my IT buddies to check the coding and research and they have told me its top tier. This doesn't connect with all the fud it's getting. So I have concluded this shit will break out at some point. When I dunno.

One reason the "debate" is stupid is because the tokenomics are completely different.

DAG's tokenomics are: you get 250,000 tokens, then you might be selected to run a node. If you get to run a node, you earn tokens.

The reason it dumped hard is partly probably that XAR Network hasn't tweeted much since the end of 2019 and a lot of people were hoping for a central bank update. XAR cooperates with Fantom and Andre did a bunch of work for them, but in the end it is its own entity. What happened is that the code got basically done and they delivered it to their clients (the banks) at the end of 2019.

Also there's still FUD from the old partnerships shilled by the Korean team that's now basically gone.

Fantom is working on improving smart contracts, and can scale infinitely better than ETH.
