pretty bearish for Chainlink. If Chainlink bends the knee to the Open Oracle System, it's over for them.

They become 1 participant in the Open Oracle network instead of being THE oracle network.

Of course it was already predicted by vitalik that Chainlink wouldn't be the "one" oracle solution.

Extremely bearish for Chainlink. Coinbase clearly chose Open Oracle over them, and instead of just being a blog post like most "bend the knee" partnerships, it's an actual product that you can use today.
