You can see an old Forbes article claiming this is true, because Donald Trump was self made, since he only got a $1M loan.

Of course, as the in depth assessment of his tax returns showed, Trump sponged the equivalent of almost $500M today off his father and blew through it, losing almost as much as any other single tax payer for many years of the 1980s. He then had his big bankruptcy story, but in his retelling, he boot strapped himself up. In reality, his dad finally died, leaving him a well functioning company to milk. Daddy's money saftey net being, gone, he went into small change investments in reality tv shit, and stopped losing money hand over fist like an absolute retard.

Anyhow, if journalists can claim Donald Trump was a self made millionaire, I don't buy any of that shit.
