If Chainlink is so much better than XRP then why does XRP have a higher marketcap?

Those are two different coins doing two different thing. Come on, Anon, you are better than this. Both should be a part of a well-diversified portfolio.

So I should be 50/50 Chainlink Ripple?
I can buy more of Chainlink's market cap for less money though.

Not diversified enough. Think more like 20/20/20/20/20. If one coin tanks, the other(s) will hopefully make up for that longer term.

you should be going 50% in ripple and 50% in chainlink, ripple is the safer bet and still has gains to be made, chainlink is riskier and tellor/band could really demolish its marketcap in any moment but its still a good bet because of its meme material

LINK is a scam with bogus partnerships but telling lies seems to work with this coin

XRP is an almost dead coin but its company, Ripple, has big partnerships with several major US banks. These are due to be confirmed in May.
HOWEVER Ripple is not XRP but just a product of Ripple. There is no guarantee XRP goes up in May. It might. It might not.

Ok I'm a big fan of XRP but this is the most retarded and /biz/like view you could ever possibly have. All the crypto market is right now is speculation.

If you diversify then that usually means you have no idea what you're doing.

Again, protection against ignorance. The gains you make from one coin won't be as much if you diversify. So while you are safer, it will be unlikely if you make it.

there is only one crypto that manages to defy all odds and go against BTC when it shits the bed and it's link, 100% of other coins all follow BTC exactly, when btc shits the bed, they drop like a rock all of em.

moral of the story : 100% all in chainlink you fkin retard

if you distribute the current market cap to the real volume that shitcoin is still overweight.

I agree Chainlink is a good project too. I bought before Coinbase and sold when it hit $2.50. Remember you are supposed to buy in the bear markets then sell in the bull markets.

Sigh... How many times do we have to tell you ripple idiots
Ripple's software is what reduces the cost and time of transactions
Xrp is the way to funnel fundings into Ripple's marketing strategy. It is way more efficient to dump unlimited coins than going public.
Holders have the privilege of bankrollling the 5g of instant crossborder transfer.
Helping banks cut costs will be their only reward.
Literally any low market cap shitcoin will give you more

>Ripple's software is what reduces the cost and time of transactions
No. Ripple's messaging system is really no different to Swift GPI. It's a tool is to get people into the ecosystem. With xCurrent you do not get instant settlement, you do not remove the need for nostro/vostro accounts and you do not get on demand liquidity. You speak so authoritatively and yet you don't know the difference between instant settlement and instant payment.
Without XRP, Ripple would not have a competitive advantage over Swift or really any other payment system.

Thanks for the screenshot btw.

because its not moving enough tokens to force the price higher.....the more adoption, higher the price. It would seem the most likely for odl (xrp) to be adopted due to so many institutions using xcurrent (ripplenet) already. Why would banks adopt an ethereum or other blockchain modicum of transfer.....when theyve already adopted ripplenet.

Moreso, no adoption will occur until there is regulatory clarity so its anyones guess.

>inb4 iso20022 chainlink

yes yes i know i have chainlink as well, but banks arent going to pay for staked oracles for remittances, and you will not have a smart contract for every cross border remittance.
